The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps said in statement No. 54 of Operation True Promise 4 that, according to a report by The Wall Street Journal, the U.S. embassy in Riyadh had come under attack.
The statement condemned the reported incident and said it had absolutely no connection to Iran’s armed forces, adding that, given the Israeli enemy’s strategy in the region, the action was certainly carried out by Israeli actors.
The IRGC added that its target bank had already been clearly announced in advance and that neighboring and Muslim countries had previously received warnings regarding Israeli provocations in the region.
It further called on West Asian countries to remain alert to American-Israeli efforts aimed at destabilizing and destroying the region.
